Our paper entitled “Tracking the fate of porous silicon nanoparticles delivering a peptide payload by intrinsic photoluminescence lifetime” is accepted in Advanced Materials. This work reports an innovative method to get information of physiological aging of a drug carrier in vivo. The study has been done in close collaboration with Prof. Song Cheol Kim (Asan Medical Center), Prof. Michael J. Sailor (UC San Diego), and Prof. Erkki Ruoslahti (Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute).
