Yonghoe passed his Ph.D. defense

Yonghoe Koo, who joined our laboratory in September 2020 as an MS/Ph.D. integrated program student, has successfully passed his final doctoral dissertation defense. During his time in our lab, Yonghoe developed skin-attachable sensors based on biodegradable porous silicon materials to track and monitor tissue regeneration processes. He also carried out diverse foundational studies on modulating the immune microenvironment to enhance therapeutic outcomes during tissue healing. Warmest congratulations to Dr. Koo on this incredible milestone, and we wish him all the best in his future career!
