A study on P2Y12 receptor agonists published in Journal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry

Our collaborative research investigating the potency and selectivity of P2Y12 receptor agonists has been published in the Journal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry. The paper is titled “Structure-based analysis reveals a hydrophobic pocket governing P2Y12 receptor agonist potency and selectivity.” Jihyun Lee co-led this work as a co-first author.

This study represents a fruitful international collaboration with Dr. Kenneth A. Jacobson’s laboratory at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), originating from Jihyun’s 7-month visiting research appointment at the NIH and continued joint investigations. Notably, this paper marks our lab’s first publication in the field of computational drug reactivity and structure-based simulation—a significant milestone achieved through Jihyun’s pioneering dedication. Beyond our current focus on advanced drug delivery carriers, this work expands our research scope directly into molecular drug analysis and design.

Congratulations to Jihyun and the collaborative research team on this outstanding accomplishment!
