Our paper on a novel technology for the precise diagnosis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) via metabolite profile analysis has been published in Biomarker Research. The study is titled “Liver-specific propanoate metabolism-derived 2-ethylhexanol as a novel biomarker for precise diagnosis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma”.

Led by Dongyong Lee as the first author, this translational medicine research was conducted in close collaboration with Soonchunhyang University Hospital using real patient clinical data. This technology is expected to have a significant clinical impact on advanced liver cancer management. Exceptional work, Dongyong!
